Solar Powered Wireless Security Camera

A few months ago a neighbor tried to blame for backing into his car. He didnt see it happen but guessed it was me because I am one of the few on my street with a truck. It never happened, but the injustice and lack of proof besides "I didnt do it" led me to research security cameras that I could use to keep tabs on the street where I park my car. I live in the city so break-ins are also a popular occurence. I have yet to build this system because the cost of similar web cams are a little high to just experiment. Solar Garage or Shed Lighting

Do you have a small shed or garage that lack electricity and could use some lighting? The perfect solution to this would be a cheap solar lighting system. With the availability of efficicient led bulbs and low cost solar panels, the setup is quite easy. The above diagram explains the basics of the system. See REUK for a list of the materials. The only downside to this site is that all the materials are linked to sources in the UK. I ended up purchasing everything from RadioShack, Advanced Autoparts, Home Depot, and the bulbs online from LEDWholesalers, Inc. In the end the only expensive part is the 12 v deep-cycle battery. However, if you are using the LED Bulbs, a full size battery is probably not necessary. I am currently trying to assemble the system using a 5 amp-hour/12 V battery.
